Abstract
This paper introduces the RTSP-based real-time video monitoring system at first. Moreover, in consideration of the advantages of SIP and the fact that IP Camera can only support RTSP temporarily, an improved method is proposed that through the inter conversion between SIP and RTSP, the video monitoring system based on IP Camera and SIP can be realized.
