Abstract

Triz is the abbreviation of “Theofia Resheneyva Isobretatelskehuh Zadach” in Russian and is invented to solve problems. It is short for “Theory of Inventive Problem Solving). Its study started from 1946 when Russian inventor Genrich S. Altshuller and his team members analyzed the approximately 250 invention patents. After the long-term analysis, induction and refinement, they formed TRIZ theory based on comprehensive principles and rules. Its main function is to do research on the scientific principles and rules existing in the process of invention and solving technology problems. Finally, they conclude one methodology and tools system to create systematic innovation and guidance for the mindset of designers. In recent years, the theory of TRIZ can has been widely used in mechanical parts.
