Abstract
In this study, a variable density yield table is developed for Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) stands in Yalnizcam and Ugurlu Central State Forest Enterprises, Gole Forest Enterprise Directorate, Erzurum Forest Region Directorate. In order to achieve this, 358 sample plots taken from stands on varying age, site index and density degree. Using these data obtained from this sample plots, regression equations predicting growth components of main stand, e.g. stand volume and basal area, constructed as functions of stand age, site index, and density index. The best fitted equation was stand volume (R2=0.903), and subsequently stand basal area (R2=0.751), number of tree (R2=0.603), mean diameter (R2=0.553), and mean height (R2=0.501). The relationships between main and removed Scots pine stands attributes and stand age, site index and density index is statistical significant and agreement with known rules and laws. Keywords: Variable density yield table, Scots pine, Density
