Abstract

Influence of finite thermal conductivity of boundaries on flow structure in fluid (with Prandtl number Pr = 16) and gas (with Pr = 0,66) vertical layers with walls, heated to different temperatures, and on local performances of natural convection boundary layers over the range Grashof numbers from 100 <; Gr <; 106 is explored. The finite element method in Cartesian coordinates solves the equations of thermogravitational convection in Bossiness approximation in variables temperature, a vorticity and a stream function. The laminar flows in the conjugate statement of problem are studied. Temperature fields, both in a fluid, and in rigid vertical walls are calculated.
