Abstract

The education of technical-interpretive skills from various methodical perspectives, with disciplinary tangents, represents a topic of great importance and topicality of instrumental pedagogy. The collection of studies “Violinschulwerk” edited by the renowned pedagogues and performers Klaus Hertel and Ulfert Thiemann welcomes violin students, future teachers, with a selection of studies and caprices of great variety and technical complexity, belonging to prominent representatives of the main violin schools. The included contents guide the instrumentalist towards a complete approach in interpretation, with the inherent realization of the correlation between technique - musical theory - style.
