Abstract
The carbon nanotube network based electrical biosensor platform for a general immunoassay is reported. The platform has three features; surface modification of the channel for attaching the antibody as the probe molecules, 2-terminal asymmetric electrode structure and the electrical pulse bias for monitoring current during the binding events with the target molecules. Preliminary results for detecting the Alpha Fetoprotein as the biomarker of hepatoma have been reported to show the potential of the platform as a general immunoassay.
