Krishnamurthy is Senior Technical Adviser to the Secretary-General of the UN Water Conference. Earlier, he was the consultant to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in connexion with the African Regional Preparatory Meeting for the UN Water Conference, when his activities included missions to several African countries as part of the preparatory process.
