Abstract
The efficiency of biological insecticides against Phyllotreta cruciferae (Goeze, 1777) and Meligethes aeneus (Fabricius, 1775) in sowings of spring rapeseed Brassica napus L. was studied. The researches were conducted in V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops (Krasnodar, Russia) in 2017–2019. The results showed the prevalence of Ph. cruciferae on seedlings of Brassica napus L. was equal to 8.0 beetles/plant in 2017, in 2018 – 6.0 beetles/plant, in 2019 reached 9.0 beetles/plant. Mass colonization of plants with beetles of M. aeneus Fab. occurred in a phase of rapeseed bud formation, and in 2017 it reached 8.0 beetles/plant, in 2018 – 6.0 beetles/plant, in 2019 – 9.0 beetles/plant. The insecticide Biostat, EC demonstrated the highest biological efficiency against both pests: 87.0 and 89.0%, respectively, saved yield was 0.31–0.30 t/ha. In a production trial, Biostat, EC appeared to be the best, with the efficiency of 85 and 88.9%, which allowed receiving the reliably high yield – 1.71 t/ha.
