Abstract

SUMMARY In this paper work there are presented the observations made during the years 2006-2007 upon five sweet cherries varieties cultivated in the conditions of the didactic orchard belonging to the Fruit Culture Department from Timisoara. The sweet cherries production was determined by weighting the medium fruits samples, obtaining the production per tree. Bing variety has also over-passed the witness having a significant positive difference to the witness. The lowest sweet cherries production gave Vista variety, having a distinct significant negative difference to the witness.
