Abstract
M usa Yola recently painted a mural in Ahmadu Bello University's small Museum of Art at Zaria, Nigeria. He is a very remarkable, entirely self-taught local artist, and the writer's invitation to him to make the Museum painting was intended as a form of recognition that would also preserve an example of his work in the geographical area where he has been decorating the walls of Hausa compounds with paintings of outstanding originality.
