Abstract

A practical application of impedance changes in the chest during respiration has resulted in an insturment which can control the time of x-ray exposure during chest roentgenography at any desired period of respiration. The instrument,* designed by North American Aviation Space and Information Systems Division, is a by-product of the Space program, contributing a useful medical device as applied to chest roentgenography.
