Abstract
Objective To explore and analyze the effect of quality control circle activities on the use rate of intravenous indwelling needle in pediatric infusion room, so as to provide reference for improving the use rate of intravenous indwelling needle in pediatric infusion room. Methods On January 8, 2016, the quality control circle was set up, in the theme of to improve the utilization rate of intravenous indwelling needle in pediatric infusion .300 cases of hand vein, foot step of great saphenous vein in children with intravenous indwelling needle after the activity were treated as the quality control circle group. Its usage of intravenous indwelling needle was objectively analyzed, and formulated the corresponding countermeasures for the existing problems and organize their implementation. At the same time, from July 6, 2015 to January 5, 2016, the children of 300 routine intravenous injection needles were treated as control group. The use rate of the intravenous needle of the two groups were observed. Results The success rate of catheter puncture, the retention time indwelling needle, the incidence of accidental removal and the statistical analysis of satisfaction of the patients and their families were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). At the same time, the results of statistical analysis of the intangible results after the quality control circle activities were significantly higher than that before the activities (P<0.01). Conclusions Quality control circle activity can effectively stimulate the passion of work, and creativity, and has a positive effect on improving their work efficiency. At the same time, the implementation of quality control activities in the pediatric intravenous infusion room can fully enhance the use of intravenous catheter infusion for children and extend indwelling time. The model has great clinical value.
