Abstract
A direct electrochemical method for the investigation of single molecular events is described. The high signal to noise advantage of microelectrodes is sufficient to monitor such events under certain circumstances. In this work, we monitor the adsorption of single DNA molecules from solution at carbon microdisk electrodes.
