Abstract
Between 70 and 95% of medical visits end with prescribing medicines, while almost 2 billion people worldwide do not have access to essential medicines. The presented work is aimed at studying the problems of drug deficiency and the task of reducing it within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the research activities of public organizations on reducing socio-economic inequality and access of the population and representatives of certain groups to medicines.
