Abstract

An electromagnetic crystal terahertz horn antenna, fabricated on a silicon substrate, has been developed by collaborating researchers from the University of Arizona and the Beijing Institute of Technology. As was shown in their Letter in the previous issue of Electronics Letters, low attenuation and simple integrability confirm the suitability of such crystals for the successful implementation of terahertz technology.
