Abstract

An all-fiber ring cavity has been fabricated in order to study the nonlinear propagation of a resonant pulse train coming from a synchronously pumped dye laser. The output of the system is characterized by instabilities of the type predicted by a 2-D map. Solutions are analyzed as a function of the relative phase between the pulse train and the cavity.
