Abstract

A generalization of the Baranger-Mozer formalism is presented for a low-frequency thermal electric-microfield distribution. Correlation, proportion, temperature, and charge effects are included in this model for a three-component plasma (one electronic and two ionic). Results are presented for various ion mixtures in a range of temperature ratios encountered in dense and hot plasmas of inertial-confinement fusion produced by laser.
