Abstract
TEM (Transverse Electromagnetic) Cell is a device for generating a broadband standard electric field and measuring radiation power. This work takes a pragmatic approach and presents a verification procedure and a measuring setup for a TEM cell. The test procedure complies with ISO 11452–3. The test setup is based on measured data from various TEM cell scenarios that were run to see which one would work best for the specific application. Our main focus has been to present the challenges that appear with the implementation of this new test method in the EMC Laboratory.
