Abstract
Healthcare technologies, such as a smart heart rate monitor belt and a smartwatch that can see heart rate and measure blood oxygen levels, are becoming widely used. However, these devices are personal, and analyzing data from them is inconvenient. As a result, this paper details a wristband that can monitor users' health by using the MAX30100 oximeter sensor to measure heart rates and blood oxygen levels, as well as sending information through the Long-Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) to a receiver over the Internet to record values using cloud-based Google sheets. The telehealth monitoring system prototype is based on a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) that was able to measure heart rate and blood oxygen levels with error rates of 3.62% and 3.58%, respectively. With Spreading Factor <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$(\mathbf{SF})=\mathbf{12}$</tex> , the transmission distance between the wristband and the receiver base on LoRaWAN bands of 923MHz can be achieved at 250 meters from the receiver. As a result, the prototype system may be utilized to monitor healthcare across a large area.
