Abstract
In a recent study by Czerninski et al., the authors evaluated various factors necessary to reach the correct diagnosis using telemedicine as a platform. In context to Asia and Southeast Asia region, large population of patients suffering from oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) might exhibit oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSMF-OSCC) concomitantly. AI based algorithms hold great promise to pave the way to identify suspicious lesions especially potentially malignant and malignant pathologies. This article is protected by copyright.
