Abstract

Abstract
The theme of Islamic nationalism is always interesting to be studied in several academic scientific forums, especially among Islamic thinkers, academics, students, santri and kyai. However, until now, it seems that there has been no clear format and is still debatable regarding the many variations in understanding and paradox of implementation. Islam is standardized, but the implementation of nationalism is still in contradiction.
Hasan Al-Banna, an Egyptian warrior and thinker cleric, has views and concepts about Islamic nationalism which is then carried out through the Islamic movement within the Ikhwanul-Muslimin forum.
(I M). Hasan Al-Banna offers the unity of the Islamic ummah in living the life of the nation and state with the principles of Islamic law as its foundation. However, this idea received a lot of resistance from several communities of scholars and other Islamic thinkers.
