Abstract
This article describes the range of technology applications employed as part of an online graduate mathematics education program and the ways in which technology is used to maximize student participation and promote active construction of knowledge. The authors discuss how conveyance technologies, such as course management systems, and mathematical action technologies, such as dynamic geometry software, are used to promote student learning that is research-based, engaging, and effective.
