Abstract

This column proposes a new approach to teaching information literacy in which librarians work with faculty members to find examples of “fake news” in their discipline. This is an efficient method for teaching information literacy and creates stronger professional relationships between faculty and liaison librarians.

Introduction

This column proposes a new approach to teaching information literacy in which librarians work with faculty members to find examples of “fake news” in their discipline.
