Abstract

All the evidence now coming in from the schools suggests that the number of physics teachers in schools will soon be adequate for the amount of physics teaching being undertaken. Department of Education and Science statistics show that annual increments to the graduate science teaching profession grew from 332 in 1969 to 1676 in 1973.
