Abstract

Recently, time difference of arrival (TDOA) based location estimate method has been extensively used in trajectory estimation. In a geolocation problem, the accurate position estimation of an emitter is significant since TDOA data contain measurement error. This paper presents TDOA based trajectory estimation method using recursive least square (RLS) algorithm. This algorithm can derive an estimated position of emitter precisely and reduce a calculation speed. To confirm the efficiency of the proposed algorithm, some simulation results using the RLS algorithm are provided.
