Abstract
A análise de marcha oferece dados importantes para a compreensão e tratamento de distúrbios da locomoção. Sua importância é tal que justificou a criação dos chamados Laboratórios de Movimento. Este campo tem se desenvolvido muito nas últimas décadas. Este artigo mostra esta evolução, e a situação atual da análise de marcha no Brasil e no mundo. Expõe também os termos técnicos usados neste tipo de estudo.
