Abstract
A 46-year-old female with ulcerative colitis was studied with Tc-99m HMPAO leukocyte imaging to establish the presence of inflammatory activity. She had a kidney transplantation because of terminal renal chronic failure in 1994. A renal function study was performed with 3 mCi of Tc-99m MAG3, and it was compared with a previous study performed three years earlier.
