Abstract

This article presents the issue of the development of higher education as a factor of regional development. On the background of synthetic considerations concerning the nature and mechanisms of regional development, the roles of the university resulting from the creation of soft factors of regional development are discussed. Particular attention was paid to the development of the infrastructure the university as a special way of enriching concrete space.
