Abstract

The results of the experimental and theoretical studies of stratified two-phase helium flows in the channels of superconducting magnet cryostability are presented. For calculations of the intraphase and interphase interactions the criterion dependencies are sited. The transient operating conditions of the systems ensuring cryostability are analysed and a good coincidence with the experiments is obtained for the pulse heating of channels with two-phase helium.
