Abstract

The signature inversion phenomenon in odd-odd nuclei is reviewed for the regions of mass numbers $A\ensuremath{\simeq}80,$ 130, and 160. The angular momentum, frequency, and moment of inertia estimated at the signature inversion point are analyzed. The correlations found of these quantities with other nuclear parameters are discussed.
