Abstract

Synthesizing orbital angular momentum (OAM) beam with a small divergence angle is described in this paper. OAM beam is decomposed into plane waves with phase relationship decided by OAM mode number. Then, Maxwell fisheye lens is utilized to synthesize the OAM beam and the fundamental physics behind the phenomenon is also revealed. The simulation is carried out to demonstrate synthesizing OAM beam.
