Abstract

Biomass aerogels have been widely studied in the catalytic field due to their advantages of environmental protection and large specific surface area. However, the amount of catalytic center of biomass aerogel is not satisfied and most biomass aerogels are fragile. Herein, the novel composite double network aerogel was prepared by polyacrylamide and iminodiacetic acid functionalized alginate. In addition, graphene oxide was introduced to enhance the mechanical and catalytic performance of the aerogels. Compared with the parental alginate aerogel, the metal cross-linked content and particle compressive strength of aerogel have been improved by 2 times and 30 times, respectively.
