Abstract
A stereoscopic photography system and a technology for the synthesis of digital models of surfaces of three-dimensional objects of complex configuration are described. The system represents a hardware-software complex using a PC 386 personal computer and is capable of reconstructing three-dimensional digital models of surface of various objects (e.g., the surface of the human body) from planar optical images with the accuracy required.
