Abstract

A new method for the construction of novel fluorine-containing indole ring system has been reported. These indoles were converted into a new series of fluorine-containing indolyl chalcones (1a-g) and pyrazolines (2a-g). All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized with the help of IR, MS and NMR spectroscopic data.
