Abstract

AbstractThe cover picture shows the design and synthesis of two successive generations of analogues of embelin, a natural product with proapoptotic and anticancer properties. This research was performed in the Indo‐French “Joint Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry at Interfaces&2dquo; between the University of Rennes I/CNRS and the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology/CSIR, Hyderabad. This cooperation is highlighted by the best‐known monuments from both cities (Charminar in Hyderabad and Parliament of Brittany in Rennes). Details of this research are discussed in the article by R.
