Abstract
Calcium Cadmium Phosphate Hydrate (CaCdPH) powders with transition metal ions (Mn2+ & Fe3+) as dopants are synthesized via solid state route. The prepared nanopowders phase was confirmed by using XRD analysis. The surface morphology was analyzed by recording their SEM images. The quantitative chemical analysis of CaCdPH: Mn2+ and CaCdPH: Fe3+ was confirmed from energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). From the optical and Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra, the site symmetries of CaCdPH: Mn2+ and CaCdPH: Fe3+ are ascribed as distorted octahedral. Various EPR parameters such as spin Hamiltonian parameters (g-value), hyperfine (HF) parameter A, number of spins (N) and paramagnetic susceptibility (χ) are evaluated.
