Abstract
Assembly of nitroterephthalic acid (H2NTPA) or diphenic acid (H2DPA) with trimethyltin chloride under hydrothermal conditions produces a one-dimensional chain polymer [(Me2Sn)2(μ3-NTPA)(μ3-O)]n (1) or a two-dimensional corrugated sheet polymer [(Me2Sn)4(μ3-DPA)(μ4-DPA)(μ3-O)2]n (2), respectively.
