Synthesis and characterization of mixed aryl-alkyl organotin compounds

Abstract

In an effort to develop new organotin compound, a series of organotin compounds containing mixed aryl-alkyl substituents have been synthesized. All prepared organotin (IV) compounds were characterized by IR, 1H, 13C, 119Sn NMR spectra, and the elemental analysis. In addition, the solid-state structures of 4–1a, 4–2a, 4–2b, 4–2c, 5–1b, 5–2a, 5–2b, and 5–1a’ were determined by the X-ray diffraction analysis. The Hirshfeld surface analysis shows that the complexes 5–1b and 5–2b have a similar contribution of different contacts to the Hirshfeld surfaces.
