The article is devoted to research of synonimy as one of the phenomenon which promotes to development of language system. Results of the research showed that synonyms are speech accessory firstly, and then become language accessory. It proves that speech entropy are preceded language entropy. The phenomenon of synonimy realizes the principle of language redundancy. It leads to entropy growth. This process temporarily disorganizes language system, and, as a result, it optimizes process of language transition from one condition to another. The new condition of language should be regarded as more successful and more satisfying requirements of each separate native speaker and society. In this regard synonyms promote to growth of information. They make native speakers’ speech more informative and promote more exact expression of thoughts. The synonimy as option of language optimization doesn’t assume aspiration of language to perfection, but to satisfaction of need of people for communication. As a result of overcoming of dissipative structures the language system is replenished with new information. Therefore, the increase of entropy increases informational content of language system.
