Abstract

Abstract Funks G80 was planted Apr 24, 1980, at the University of Georgia Experiment Station, Oconee Co. The soil type was an Appling sandy loam. A randomized complete block experimental design with 2 row plots and 5 replicates was used. Plants were treated with a full cone spray using an air pressure sprayer at 30 psi in a final volume of 50 gal/A directed on the plant ears. Plots were sprayed 8 times on Jun 19, 24, 26, 28, Jul 1, 3 and 5. All ears in the center 18 foot of row were examined on Jul 7 for the presence of corn earworm larvae or damage.
