Abstract

The corneal grafts of two patients in which different sutures were used were studied by clinical and histologic criteria. Patient 1, whose graft had been sutured with 8-0 virgin silk, demonstrated a markedly more severe inflammatory reaction than patient 2, whose graft had been sutured with 10-0 monofilament nylon.
