AbstractThe Special Issue on Sustainable and Affordable Chemistry to Meet Future Challenges in the Pharmaceutical Industry illustrates the hopes within the field of catalysis. With spectacular reports based on transition‐metal catalysis, biocatalysis, photoredox catalysis, organocatalysis, hybrid, or combined catalysis, utilizing sustainable media especially chemistry in water and flow chemistry, we hope to inspire others to join the quest for a more sustainable future.
