Abstract
Abstract Community college students are a busy, mobile group of users with various backgrounds in library awareness. The West Bank Campus Library of Delgado Community College in New Orleans, Louisiana, developed a survey strategy to study attitudes toward research and student experiences in the campus library. Survey instruments were completed by class groups in a variety of disciplines at the beginning and end of a 16 week semester. All students surveyed attended a research methods session with the librarian, and used the library throughout the semester to complete course papers and projects.
