Abstract

Abstract In this paper we estimate wage equations for Austrian women which account for selectivity due to both non-participation in the labor market and survey non-response. This is done by a two-step procedure which involves the estimation of a bivariate probit model with partial observability. The results suggest that non-response may be an important source of selection bias.
