Abstract

A 50-year-old man underwent an electrophysiologic study for very frequent episodes of supraventricular tachycardia. He had a left bundle branch block with a baseline sinus cycle length, atrial-His (AH) interval, and His-ventricular (HV) interval of 670, 100, and 65 ms, respectively. Atrial pacing induced a regular supraventricular tachycardia with a cycle length of 540 ms. Ventricular pacing at a cycle length of 500 ms was performed during the tachycardia (Figure 1). A premature atrial stimulus was introduced in the high right atrium during tachycardia (Figure 2).
