Abstract
The beverage Industry is a company that is engaged in the production of mineral water in Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottles. PET bottle is the primary material used in the beverage industry. Therefore, the use of PET resin as bottle material is unavoidable. On the other hand, public awareness about the environment is getting bigger. Seeing these conditions, the company decided to use recycled pet resin to solve this problem. Currently, the company has three candidates for recycle PET suppliers, as alternative suppliers to be selected. The company wants to know which suppliers are eligible to be selected and which suppliers can be eliminated so that this project can run successfully. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method will be used in this study to assist in making research weights. Further, a supplier assessment and evaluation system will be made to decide which supplier to select.
