Abstract

We discuss the relation between the SUSY chiral current and the Adler-Bardeen chiral current in supersymmetric theories. The two currents, identical at the classical level, are defined by different renormalization prescriptions at the quantum level. We show explicitly how to pass from the SUSY current, defined by minimal supersymmetric subtraction, to the AB current by making additional, finite but not supersymmetric subtractions. In our particular scheme we determine to all orders the anomalous dimension of the AB current and the value of the β-function for both simple and extended Yang-Mills theories.
