Abstract

Modified maximum description length (MDL) is proposed to super-resolve multipath components in indoor wideband multipath channels. Modified MDL is studied using computer simulated multipath channels and experimental multipath channels generated inside an anechoic chamber. Results have shown that, by introducing a threshold, modified MDL can accurately super-resolve the dominant multipath components but ignore the weak components in both cases.
