Abstract

A set of equations which characterizes the super-Teichmiiller deformations is proposed. It is a supersymmetric extension of the Beltrami equation. Relations between the set of equations and the Schiffer variations with the KN bases are discussed. This application of the KN bases shows the powerfulness of the KN theory in the study of super-Riemann surfaces. In recent years there have been much intensive attempts to study conformal field theories over a higher-genus Riemann surface by means of operator formalisms.!) These theories have been expected to present the basic idea of superstring theory which is a strong candidate for the unified theory containing the gravitational field. 2
