Abstract

The article deals with the relevant issue of sustaining the uninterrupted operation of power supply systems, both for the country as a whole and for the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that are engaged in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The malfunction of such crucial elements of the power system as power transformers, can result in the shutdown of a significant portion of power plants, leading to disruptions in power distribution to a substantial number of consumers. Restoring their power supply would necessitate a considerable amount of time and significant financial resources. Thus, it is suggested determining the actual technical condition of power transformers by comparing the results of transformer control indicators obtained from the nameplate data with those derived from control measurements. Two virtual models have been developed to analyze the resulting disparities in parameters between real and virtual models by simulating the operation of a power transformer, thereby drawing conclusions regarding the actual technical condition of a power transformer that has have fully utilized its warranty resource. The article suggests a sequence for obtaining control measurements on a power transformer.
